Six-Head Gravity Liquid Filler with Air Rinser
If you’re building a packaging line and are curious about how the different liquid filling machines work, this video of a six-head gravity liquid filler can help shed some light on at least some of the machines. Gravity fillers are used to thin or foamy products, as the thin liquids have low viscosity and therefore don’t need any pressure to help force them into containers. Different liquid fillers are better for different products, and if you’re not sure which machine is best for the product you’re packaging, we at E-PAK can help you learn more about the different types of liquid filling equipment available. Gravity fillers ensure that each container gets filled with the same amount of product, and also prevents spillage or overflow. Building a packaging line requires more than a liquid filling machine, though.
Why You Need an Air Rinser
When containers and bottles are held in storage prior to filling, it’s essential that the inside of the bottles are cleaned before the product is put in. Storage can cause the inside of the containers to become dirty or dusty, and in order to prevent contaminants from ruining your product, bottle cleaners or air rinsers are essential. These machines prepare the containers for use, by neutralizing the ions and releasing debris from clinging to the sides of the bottle, then vacuuming out the air within the container. After this, the containers are clean and ready to be filled.
