If you fill products into containers when the product is heated to an elevated temperature, you need to come up with a way to cool the product down before it’s boxed up and shipped off. For this reason, it can be beneficial to use cooling conveyers in your workspace, in place of standard conveyers. Cooling conveyers are specifically designed to promote cooling and enhance the quality of products filled when heated, and are available in a variety of sizes to meet your needs. If you’ve been looking for a way to increase the efficiency of your packaging line, and your products include things that are filled while heated, a cooling conveyer may be a good way to increase the output.
If your company manufactures molten products you need to bring to room temperature before packaging, you may need to integrate a cooling station with your inline filling system. To design your own cooling station for optimal product preservation and packaging, you can follow these steps:
When you expose your products to high temperatures, you need to bring them to lower room-temperature levels before you transport them to bottles or containers. To bring your goods to the right heat, you may need to use a cooling conveyor system.
After inline fillers package the products, they enter this conveyer system, which you can adjusted to the length and width you require for your inventory and are exposed to cooler temperatures to bring your products to the ideal heat level. If necessary, you can add fans and fan brackets for additional cooling.
When you use a cooling conveyer belt, you may need help prior to and after the process. Your company can use pre-heat, re-melt and transfer stations in conjunction for the ultimate cooling process. When you use all three together, your manufacturing team will have pristinely packaged your company's products, eliminating any errors that would have occurred otherwise.
You may need to cool your product eventually, but at some point, you may need to melt it down, too. For some products, like candles, you want a consistently smooth finish for all your products. To get them to the continuously unblemished products time after time, you may need to pre-heat or re-melt your products before or after the packaging. The pre-heat machines will heat your product prior to inline filling, and the re-melt machines create that flat, polished finish you need.
Transfer stations help to make sure your products are loaded and unloaded onto the cooling conveyors as smoothly as effortlessly as possible. These systems also keep your products in their proper position before and after going through the conveyor belt. Usually, businesses use transfer stations to load the products onto the conveyer belts, but you can use them to remove them, too. When you use automatic push transfer stations, the conveyer belts will automatically align your products into rows and push them forward. Pull stations are used at the end of the transfer stations to remove the bottles or containers; oftentimes people will use push and pull systems together to fully integrate a complete transfer station into the filling line.
Cooling conveyers work by moving product along a line slowly and smoothly, which promotes cooling better than a process by which they’d move more quickly. Additionally, cooling fans and fan brackets, which would be mounted underneath the belt, are available. When installed, these fans expedite the cooling process even more; however, these conveyers are still effective even without the fans. Because they move at a slower speed than standard conveyers, cooling conveyers give the product more time to come to a lower temperature. These machines are ideal for products such as candles, solid deodorants, and more. Available in a variety of lengths and widths, cooling conveyers can be put together to match the specific needs of your business or product.
These specialized machines are typically used in conjunction with molten product fillers , pre-heaters, re-melt stations, and transfer shuttles. The entire process, then, can be done from start to finish in the most efficient way possible. Cooling conveyers can speed up the process by which things can be packaged and sent off, which can increase your overall productivity and efficiency, particularly if you use cooling fans in addition to the slower conveyer speed. This will solidify the products that are filled when liquid is heated but need to harden before being shipped, and can allow you to process more units and, in turn, ship more of your product in the same amount of time.
